The perfect light where nature needs it most
The Sundar Grow Light Line
When it comes to indoor vertical gardens, light is not merely a decorative element—it is the biological driving force behind the vegetation.
Sundar Grow Light professional lighting systems are specifically designed to stimulate natural growth, maintain the health of plants, and preserve the garden's aesthetic appeal over the long term, overcoming the limitations of indoor environments.
Through specialized engineering solutions (recessed, track-mounted, or rail-mounted), we integrate the best semiconductor technologies available on the market to transform interior spaces into truly self-sufficient ecosystems.
The Full Spectrum Revolution
Unlike older grow lights, which relied solely on strong, isolated peaks of blue and red light (which altered the plants’ visual perception and created an unpleasant purple tint in the environment), our systems use a continuous, balanced light spectrum (Full Spectrum 4,000 K).
Standard LED Spectrum
SGL LED Spectrum
-
Our LEDs provide highly efficient photons distributed across every single color band that can be absorbed by plant pigments.
-
The light spectrum faithfully simulates the pattern of sunlight, encouraging the plant to develop sturdy stems and eliminating "etiolation" (the undesirable weakening caused by poor light spectra).
-
The deep penetration of green and cyan light allows photons to pass through the upper leaves of the vertical garden, illuminating and nourishing even the foliage below or further inside.
-
The light it emits is a beautiful, natural white with exceptional color accuracy. It enhances the true vibrancy of plants’ colors and blends elegantly into offices, homes, and design elements.
SGL Spot & SGL Recessed
Full Solar Spectrum Technology
Our adjustable track lights (or wall-mounted fixtures) and recessed spotlights incorporate the latest generation of full-spectrum LEDs. They utilize innovative semiconductor technology based on a violet-light pump rather than a blue-light pump, recreating a spectral emission curve that matches the spectrum of natural sunlight almost perfectly. The housing is made entirely of RAL-paintable die-cast aluminum, complete with a reflector and protective glass.

Let's start with the lighting design calculation
All of our projects include a detailed lighting design. The proper sizing and placement of artificial light sources are, in fact, of the utmost importance for ensuring the vitality and well-being of every garden.
Every architectural space presents unique challenges in terms of natural light, heights, and distances. For this reason, we never rely on chance or general estimates; instead, we apply a rigorous scientific approach before every installation.
-
We precisely calculate the number of useful photons that will reach every single centimeter of the plant wall, ensuring that the plants at the top receive the same amount of energy as those at the bottom.
-
Based on the preliminary study, we select the ideal beam width—ranging from 15°-focused optics for long-range lighting to 65°-diffused optics for close-range lighting—thereby eliminating any shadowed areas.
-
Let's avoid oversizing the system. Proper lighting means installing only the power needed, reducing electricity consumption for the end customer without compromising the health of the garden.
-
We assess the illuminance levels and glare index in the surrounding areas to ensure that the garden lighting blends harmoniously and comfortably with the overall ambient lighting.
Customized solutions for every project
The Sundar Grow Light line was developed as an integral part of our indoor green walls. However, the technological excellence of these lighting fixtures makes them the ideal choice for enhancing and nourishing any natural indoor element, regardless of its shape.
Our lights are also available for purchase separately to meet a wide range of needs for ambient lighting and dramatic accent lighting, including:
Traditional Flower Beds and Indoor Gardens
To ensure the light required for chlorophyll-based photosynthesis, counteracting the lack of light typical of shaded areas and interior corridors.
Arrangements and Potted Plants
To nourish and enhance planters, botanical displays, hydroponic systems, or groups of pots arranged in offices, restaurants, or private homes.
Scattered plants and individual specimens
To direct focused beams of light onto tropical plants, houseplants (such as Ficus or Pachira), or tall plants placed in lobbies, offices, and living areas.

Let's Clear Up Your Questions (FAQ)
Do you have any questions? Let's clarify every biological and technical aspect related to lighting.
-
Absolutely. The latest-generation windows and glazing (such as double-pane, triple-pane, or low-emissivity glass) are designed for thermal insulation and physically block a significant portion of the solar spectrum. These glazing types block UV rays and reflect infrared radiation, but they also filter and diminish visible light (PAR), reducing the intensity of photons essential for photosynthesis by 20% to 50%. Even in a room that appears very bright, the natural light passing through a modern window is not biologically sufficient to ensure the long-term health of a living wall. The Sundar Grow Light range is designed precisely to address this shortfall, providing plants with a complete, dense, and constant spectrum that ensures their optimal biological nourishment, regardless of the building’s structural shading.
-
To ensure steady growth and optimal plant health, the lights should remain on for an average of 10 hours a day.
-
The lighting cycle we recommend should take place exclusively during the day and never at night. Plants have an internal biological clock (circadian rhythm) very similar to ours: they need the nighttime hours of total darkness to complete the dark phase of photosynthesis, rest, and properly metabolize the nutrients accumulated during daylight hours.
-
Absolutely not. Unlike older plant-stimulating lamps that emit an unpleasant fuchsia or purple light, our technology uses a neutral white spectrum (4,000 K) with extremely high color fidelity. The light is elegant, easy on the eyes, and brings out the natural green just as sunlight would on a clear day.
-
Yes, the LED bar (SGL Bar) is also 100% full spectrum at 4,000 K, but it uses technology optimized for a different purpose. While the spotlights (SGL Spot and Downlight) focus on maximum geometric fidelity to sunlight via a violet light pump, the SGL Bar is engineered with diodes specifically designed for technical horticulture that maximize photonic efficiency. These chips concentrate a higher energy density in the blue spectrum at 437 nm—the ideal wavelength for triggering photosynthesis—and distribute it richly and continuously across the green and red spectra. The result is a white, neutral, and exceptionally elegant light to the human eye, capable of ensuring uniform linear coverage across the plant canopy and minimizing energy consumption per linear meter.
-
This means that the aluminum exterior of the SGL Spot, Downlight, and Bar models can be customized in terms of color to blend seamlessly with the ceiling’s color or the interior design concept of the space where they are installed.
